(High Throughput Analysis, Purification and Quantitation)
Making the hidden pearls in your corporate collection
easier to identify
Exelgen offers one of the most advanced high throughput analysis and purification services available. Internally and externally validated, our processes are tailored to each class of compound, ensuring maximum recovery and purity. Integrated into all our discovery programmes, they are also offered as a stand alone service to improve the integrity of clients' corporate and legacy collections - greatly enhancing their value in future screening programmes.
Our unique informatics driven integrated processes, highly specified facilities and experienced personnel together provide a service which ensures best possible results in the shortest possible timeframe
High-Throughput Analysis
This is a flexible, automated and highly efficient process. Capacity is over 600,000 analyses per year and purity determination options include MS, ELS and a range of UV wavelengths to meet client requirements. Analysis validation is conducted to determine library specific assays including column, mobile phase and detector. Data can be provided in a range of formats. Our integrated informatics, ChemCore, is then used to optimise purification method selection, based on purity and chromatography data collected.
High-Throughput Purification
Like analysis, this is a flexible, automated and efficient process which utilises data generated in analysis to optimise performance. Focussed method selection is based on library validation results, plate chemistry variations and chromatographic behaviour. Our proprietary informatics, ChemCore is used to support accurate method selection and fraction triggering.
The average final sample purity is 95% and capacity exceeds 250,000 purifications per year. Amounts from 10mg to gram scale can be accommodated and turn-round time for libraries of ~600 and scales up to 100mg can be as little as 9 days with no compromise in purity or recovery.
Quantitation
To address the emerging need to measure sample molarity, Exelgen has the expertise to assess your samples via a combination of methods to best suit your requirements. These can include Chemiluminescent Nitrogen Detection (CLND), Evaporative Light Scattering (ELS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) methodologies.
